As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is a driving post, so you will use your skills to navigate the property and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will also deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activities to appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist store personnel and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with law enforcement or emergency responders when required.
