As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or theft.
- Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support daily operations.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site protocols.
- Remain visible and approachable to provide a welcoming presence and assist customers and staff as needed.
