As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, customers, and/or employees by providing information and support as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
