As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for guests and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and be a key part of our agile and caring culture, always acting with integrity and supporting a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local emergency services and Allied Universal management.
  • Support hotel or resort staff with security-related matters and provide information or assistance to guests as appropriate.
