As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.35 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns as required by site procedures.
Work collaboratively with hotel and resort staff to address guest concerns and support a secure and welcoming environment.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or package deliveries as directed by site management.
Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
