Job Description As a Security Guard - Property Patrol Driver in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate setting, you will actively monitor and patrol the property, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity as you interact with tenants, visitors, and staff throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while on duty.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific protocols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
