Job Description As a Security Guard - Tech Facility Patrol Driver in Southaven, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this primarily driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the facility.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access or behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as needed.
Document all incidents and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Follow all site-specific instructions and remain alert to changes in the environment.
