Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Level III armed certification for Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering the premises, reporting any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed, following established protocols for government facilities.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to various situations while upholding Allied Universal's standards for armed security-related services.
