Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Rochelle, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This post includes driving responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client management.
