As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with calm professionalism. You will complete routine patrols, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and/or the public by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity and/or policy violations through required channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas and perimeter routes as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
  • Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entry points, checking identification and/or credentials as directed, and documenting access activity per post orders.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or onsite contacts, and assist with crowd and/or traffic flow during peak activity or special events.
