Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, support access control and badge checks, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. Guided by an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will act with integrity while supporting patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, responding to alarms and/or calls for assistance, and coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, assisting with visitor check-in directions, and helping to maintain orderly flow through lobbies and restricted areas.
  • Complete required security-related reports and documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and preserve incident details for follow-up.
