You will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, support access control and badge checks, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, responding to alarms and/or calls for assistance, and coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions.
- Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, assisting with visitor check-in directions, and helping to maintain orderly flow through lobbies and restricted areas.
- Complete required security-related reports and documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and preserve incident details for follow-up.
