As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage respectfully with staff, patients, and visitors, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas to help manage access, assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions, and/or report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support and/or coordinating notifications to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in reports and/or logs, and communicate updates to site leadership per post orders.
