As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol corridors, entrances, and vaccine-related areas, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will bring an agile, reliable mindset, support your team, and act with integrity in every interaction. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital location.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and patient wayfinding, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support from site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and handoffs.
