About The Position

As a Security Guard - Parking Garage Patrol Driver in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering helpful customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordinating with onsite leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, identify irregular conditions, and document observations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, verifying authorized entry, and assisting with visitor direction and/or queue management when applicable.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and notable events, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
