As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document activity, support access control, and collaborate with site teams to keep operations running smoothly. Bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs related to patrols, inspections, incidents, and security-related observations using required reporting tools and maintaining confidentiality of site information.
