About The Position
As a Security Guard - Morning Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot and by bike, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
- Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify suspicious conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe people and property for irregularities, reporting security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including activity logs and observations gathered during patrols.
