About The Position

As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will stay visible, respond to concerns, and support access control and reporting with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering a fast-moving role where teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture guide how you serve.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, and directing contractors and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical events, and/or fire-related notifications, and escalate to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document patrol observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client as needed.
