Security Guard - Media Site Patrol - Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Media Site Patrol - Full Time in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor traffic during patrols, provide directions and assistance, and report access issues in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying appropriate contacts, and documenting actions taken.
- Complete routine security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
