As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and/or visitors at a technology campus by following post orders, site-specific policies, and emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, common areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with access control processes, including verifying identification, checking credentials, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and documenting actions taken.
Complete detailed written reports and electronic logs on patrols, incidents, and notable activity, and communicate significant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
