About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Site Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or mobile patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support tenants, guests, and staff with a customer-first mindset while documenting observations and partnering with site teams. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, contractors, and/or guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and noting maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site management and local responders as directed.
• Observe and document incidents, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions; complete accurate reports and maintain activity logs per site requirements.
• Use available systems such as CCTV, radios, and/or visitor management tools to support security-related operations, provide directions and assistance, and communicate updates to leadership.
