Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol in Peachtree City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe for any unusual activity or potential hazards, and report findings according to established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure and orderly environment.
- Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
- Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
