As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting while supporting daily operations. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, identifying authorized entry, and directing people to the appropriate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report maintenance or operational issues through the established chain of communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders as required by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and support security-related investigations by documenting timelines and preserving relevant information.
