As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities or unusual situations encountered during patrols throughout the location.
Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
