Job Description As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the facility.
- Report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters as needed.
- Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
