As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards within the location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.
Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
