Job Description As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver Full-Time in HUNTINGTON , WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a chemical and petrochemical location. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business area and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor for potential hazards and report any irregularities or concerns according to site protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities and incidents.
