Job Description As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or breaches.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
