As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving position. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or concerns discovered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a visible presence and following established protocols.
