As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide support to staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of required vaccines for hospital assignments.
  • Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments as required.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in hospital settings as required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities in a timely manner.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions or information as needed, maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to address security-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
