Job Description As a Security Guard - Perimeter Patrol in Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication with tenants, visitors, and site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations.
• Control access by observing and verifying entry and exit activity, assisting with visitor directions, and supporting delivery and contractor check-in processes as assigned.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and tenant or visitor interactions using Allied Universal reporting procedures, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
