You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. You will also deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, lobbies, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Control access by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, verifying appointments, and directing vendors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned and complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and handoff communications.
