As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, support staff and visitors, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter incidents, and use strong communication and customer service skills to assist during daily operations. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and/or coordinating timely notifications to medical staff and management.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at entrances and other designated points by monitoring authorized entry, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as required by post orders.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Assist with patient and visitor wayfinding, provide directions, and support traffic flow during peak visiting hours, emergency department activity, and/or special events.
Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation with accurate details and timely communication to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Support emergency procedures such as fire response, evacuation, severe weather actions, and/or lockdown protocols as directed by post orders and local requirements.
Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency medical responders, and/or hospital departments when requested and consistent with site procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while complying with Allied Universal standards, client site rules, and assigned post instructions.
