About The Position

As a Security Guard - Hospital Patrol Driver in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This role requires driving responsibilities as part of routine patrols. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly, all while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents as outlined by site-specific protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as required during emergency or security-related situations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
