As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Complete required reports and logs related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities.
Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and information as needed while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Work closely with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for all occupants.
