Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling assigned areas, primarily by vehicle. You will remain visible to staff and visitors, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital position.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols or while on post.
- Collaborate with medical staff, visitors, and other personnel to support a welcoming and secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures regarding access control, visitor management, and emergency preparedness within the healthcare environment.
