As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will engage with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity in a caring, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of staff, patients, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment and address security-related needs as they arise.
