Job Description As a Security Guard - Government Facility Patrol Driver in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. This is a primarily driving post, where you will remain visible, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and first responders as required.
• Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions within the government location as needed.
