As a driving post Security Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support visitors, staff, and events with clear communication and customer-focused service, while documenting observations and using computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management during services, events, and special programs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including galleries, courtyards, offices, parking areas, and perimeter gates, as required by post orders.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting authorized deliveries and/or contractor activity.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate promptly with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.
