About The Position

As a Security Guard - Government Facility Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and first responders as required.
Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions within the government location as needed.
