Job Description As a Security Guard - Government Building Patrol in Pearl City, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required for incident escalation and resolution.
Assist visitors and personnel at the location by providing information and guidance as needed.
Remain alert and observant to changing conditions in the environment, adapting patrol routes and activities as necessary.
