As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and excellent customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required, assisting with visitor management and/or deliveries.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist emergency personnel and first responders as needed during critical situations at the location.
