As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will engage with individuals professionally, utilize technology as needed, and represent Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter and report suspicious activity.
Work collaboratively with logistics staff and visitors, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during assigned shift.
