Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests and staff with clear, respectful communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances and exits, parking areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and professional engagement.
• Document and report daily activities, incidents and observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
