Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related issues, and provide clear, professional communication to staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to requests, and support a people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required by site policy, and document entries, exits, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support security-related investigations by preserving notes and relevant information.
