As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to the public, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving position, offering the opportunity to interact with diverse individuals while supporting a secure environment guided by Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and people-first culture. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $23.77 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 11:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide a sense of security-related support to employees, visitors, and/or the public.
Complete detailed reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and/or managing visitor logs as needed.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as necessary during the course of duties.
