As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help monitor access points, greet staff and visitors, support badge and visitor screening, and conduct routine patrols to maintain a strong, visible presence. You will communicate clearly with clinical teams and report security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Work in a hospital morgue.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting patients, visitors, and staff at designated entrances, answering basic questions, and directing individuals to the appropriate location per site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct entry screening activities such as checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and completing package, bag, and/or magnetometer screening as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and report concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision to help support security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance, documenting events, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter routes as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
