As a Screener at a busy food and beverage location, you will welcome guests and team members, support entry screening and access control, and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will stay visible near key points, communicate clearly, and deliver friendly customer service while partnering with site staff and Allied Universal leadership. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or vendors by following post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas by confirming identification, authorizations, and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with documentation and notifications as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, and complete required reports and logs.
