As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and visitor management.
Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for medical and security-related incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of security-related activities and incidents as required by site policies.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support a secure environment.
