As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with entry procedures and general inquiries related to site access.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Collaborate with on-site staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to address security-related matters within the location.
