In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols across the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout commercial office common areas, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, assist with visitor check-in and/or contractor access, and help maintain orderly traffic flow in and around the property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, completing incident reports, and promptly notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Observe and report security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, damaged property, and maintenance hazards, and communicate issues to building management per post orders.
